1989 Honda RC30 Brought to me by a customer from TN with a hole in the right side above the "VFR750R" text, I had to do a fiberglass repair/patch and then mix and blend the colors, before re-clearing the whole thing	1977 Honda Gl1000 Goldwing In "candy Sirius blue", for a customer in Ohio.	1974 Kawasaki Z1900 Like a lot of these old Kawasaki's, recreating this color is a complicated process. Black and white bases are sprayed, followed by a pearl flake mid coat, then a candy color, clear-coat, white stripes, and more clear!
1975 Honda GL1000 Done up in "Candy Antares Red" for a customer from NJ who now resides (retired!) in NC. This is the 2nd bike I've done for the same customer. Decal kit provided by Diablo Cycles in Canada.	1974 Ducati 350 Complete repaint on this vintage Ducati for Mike at www.vintagedesmo.com	1982 Honda CM250T 1982 Honda CM250T for a customer in Florida, the 3rd or 4th bike I've painted for him. There was no decal kit available for this bike, so I had to make templates off the original paint job and then re-create the artwork in chrome vinyl. Everything here is covered under multiple coats of urethane clear.
1972 S2 Kawasaki 350 Reconnected with his old bike that a neighbor had acquired decades ago, the original owner of this bike sent the parts in for a complete repaint. Having been neglected for years, these parts were in dire need of some loving!	1979 Honda CBX1000 For a customer in Idaho, refinished this 6 cylinder CBX in OEM colors using a decal kit from Diablo Cycles.	1972 H2 Kawasaki For a customer in NY, we stripped the parts to bare steel and refinished them in the OEM blue color with a quality decal kit under the clear.
1973 Kawasaki H1 Like a lot of the vintage Kawasaki's, this one requires a lot of steps: white base, pearl mid-coat, black base, flake mid-coat, candy color, clear, then sanding and spraying black/white stripes and the KAWASAKI word, and several more clear and sanding steps. For a customer in Alabama	1976 Honda CB750f This one was in REALLY rough shape when it arrived here. We stripped the old paint job, cleaned out the old tank liner, welded a bunch of pinholes in the tank, and repainted everything in the OEM candy Antares red paint scheme.	Honda MR50 Sent it by a customer in Massachusetts, painted in the OEM "Daytona orange: flavor that was available for this year
1977 Kawasaki KE175 Had to clean and seal the tank on this one, it was rather rough inside. For a customer in WI.	1969 Triumph T120R Sent to us by a customer from Oregon, who met us at the Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, Alabama, this beautiful recreation of the original paint colors and scheme was long overdue since the original paint was 54 years old!	1983 Honda CB1100F Probably the 10th blue version of the 1100F that we've done, but they never get old to look at! Decal kit (buried under 4 total coats of clear) from Diablo Cycles in Canada.
1985 Honda VF1000R This bike was purchased from an outfit in CA and sent to our customer in ID, where it arrived with some damage. He sent it to us for repair and repaint, as well as to take care of another issue with the paint he was concerned about. We repaired, blended the colors, and re-cleared everything on these true fiberglass OEM parts!	1985 Honda VFR750 For a customer in Idaho. 1994 Yamaha FZR400RR-SP Sent to us by a customer in NY, this fairing had damage on the front right. There are no decal kits for this bike, being that it's so rare in the USA. We had to make custom decals for the purple/pink after the plastic welding and repair/paint work was done.	1969 Honda CL350 Simple yet elegant, for a customer in Arizona	1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 Painted in "diamond sky blue" for a repeat customer from Ohio. The stripes on this one were painted on, this one isn't a decal kit.
1976 Yamaha RD400 In "Geneva green", with a decal kit from Diablo Cycle in Canada. The decals have been cleared over with 4 coats, in two separate steps, and the base green got it's own two coats prior to decals, for a total of 6 coats of clear! For a customer in south Florida	1978 Ducati 900ssFE Mark, from New Mexico, sent this tank in to be repainted. It came to us in black. He provided a side cover to match the silver to, along with the decal kit.	1972 Yamaha XS650 We patterned the graphics off of the original paint job prior to stripping it for it's repaint. All paint, no decals or stickers.
1974 Norton Commando For a customer in Iowa, this one is all paint, no decals or stickers.	1977 Yamaha XS650 This customer from Ohio came to us with a special request: the tribute bike he was building in memory of his recently deceased painter/pal needed to be painted. He provided us an image of the late painter's logo, and asked if we would be agreeable to re-creating the logo on the entirely new paint job, in memory of his friend. Honored that we could help out with this unique request.	1973 Yamaha RD350 For a customer in Florida. We stripped this one to bare steel, and matched the new paint to a portion of paint under a side cover emblem that was virgin. We recreated the tank graphics using a set of OEM reproduction decals as a stencil, and the side cover decals are just that, under 4 coats of urethane clear.
1970 Kawasaki H1 Done in the OEM "peacock grey" for the 1970 model year. For a customer in Ohio	Honda CB1100R This aluminum tank was painted to match the customers existing OEM bodywork.	1967 Wards Riverside 125 Complete repaint for a local customer. A decal kit and some hand laid pinstriping under the clear ensure this will be the last paint job this bike ever needs
Kawasaki GPZ900 resto -mod Nardo grey, metallic black and a gunmetal metallic with gold accents. All paint, no decals or stickers on this one. It's getting a 1000cc motor and lots of other cool parts on this build, for a customer in Ohio.	1986 Honda V65 Magna For a local customer who's been in the bike business for a long time, we refinished this one in OEM colors with a decal kit (under 4 coats of clear) from Diablo Cycle	1974 Honda CB200T We had to create a color match for this little Honda from scratch, and we re-created all of the colors you see here with paint, there are no decals or stickers on this job for a customer in Maryland
Honda CB350 Probably the 5th bike we've done for Larry, from Florida.	1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 For a customer in Kansas, using the OEM green and a decal kit from Diablo Cycle, which has buried under 4 total coats of clear. The entire job has 6 total coats of clear	1986 Suzuki GSXR750 Lots of parts on this Suzuki paint job! 6 total coats of clear on everything, 4 of those over the top of the vinyl decal kit. These jobs don't come cheap, so if you want yours done, might wat to be sitting down when you call for a quote!
1985 Kawasaki GPZ900 With custom bodywork from Japan, a custom paint job, and all of the work James Compton (TX) is performing on this bike for the customer in Florida, he's going to have one bad Top Gun!	1979 Honda CB750LE Color matched to the original candy Bayard Brown and candy Muse Red, and a decal kit from Diablo Cycles in Canada. All of it buried under 4 total coats of urethane clear!	1972 LS2 Yamaha Although the camera did something weird here and made the tank look like a different color, I can assure you, it's not, lol!
1967 Kawasaki Samurai Refinished for a customer from Idaho.	Ducati Diana We did this paint restoration for Mike and Candice at VintageDesmo, go check out their page if you want to see some cool vintage Ducatis!	1985 RZ350R Canadian model These parts were damaged and sent in to us to repair and repaint to factory specifications
Kawasaki KZ1300 A decal kit helped get this job done, although there was not a kit available for the front fairing, so we had to do that one in paint to match the decals.	1985 Yamaha RZ350 Complete paint restoration on this customers RZ350, he sent along a solo tail, an extra front fairing, and an extra front fender to be painted at the same time.	1977 Triumph Silver Jubilee Stripped to bare steel and refinished in a custom color scheme for this customer from Florida. New chrome wheels were provided and we painted the centers to match as well.
1979 Yamaha TZ250 In Yamaha's "competition yellow" black/white livery, this paint job will give this old bike and these old fiberglass race parts a completely new look.	1974 Yamaha TX500 Cleaned and sealed the tank and refinished this bike for a customer in Florida. We were also able to disassemble and re-paint the componentry on the side covers, as all of the OEM silver had worn off of them, exposing yellow plastic. A decal kit (buried under multiple coats of clear) helped ensure accuracy on this job.	1981 Kawasaki GPZ550 Repainted in original colors, including the dark blue/silver stripe, for a customer in Massachusetts. We were also able to refinish the logos as well, making them look brand new!
1974 Kawasaki H1 For a customer in Maryland, this one (like almost all the H1's and H2's) uses a multi-step process of white, black, pearl overcoat, and red candy to get the correct color.	1967 Ducati Mark3 250cc Probably the 5th job we've done for the Mike and Candy over at VintageDesmo, be sure to head to their page and take a look at their work!	1971 Honda CB750 Painted in "Candy Gold" for a customer in North Carolina. We use a quality decal kit to give us the layout for the stripe, but we re-create it in paint. We don't actually use the decal kit for anything other than marking the placement of the graphic.
1978 Yamaha RD400 Who doesn't love a beautiful RD400 paint job? This set was done for a customer in south Florida. A decal kit, buried under multiple coats of urethane clear, protects the artwork forever more!	1975 Yamaha MX175 Decal kits are available for this model, but getting them around the compound curve of the tank is practically impossible. So, we just re-created everything with paint. This job was for a customer in Wisconsin	1970 Honda CB750 Painted to "Candy Ruby Red" this beautiful set belongs to a customer in Minnesota. No decals were used in this reproduction, it's all paint
1930 Scott Flying Squirrel This bike had a completely failed tank liner, which ruined the paint job. We stripped it all to bare steel, sealed it, did all the bodywork, and painted it back to it's OEM appearance	1972 Kawasaki H2 750 This customer from California requested we paint his H2 in a color they never offered here in he states. We had to formulate the color, and a decal kit was used for the graphics. Like all of the jobs we use decals on, everything is buried under 6 total coats of clear, applied in 3 different steps (2 coats at a time, with 800g wet sanding between each sequence)	Yamaha RZ350 Complete repaint in the Kenny Roberts livery. A decal kit was used on this job, and the decals got 4 coats of clear over them to protect them from the elements.
Honda ATC 250cc Quite possibly the nicest Honda ATC tank in existence, lol. Sent to us for refinishing by a customer who splits his time between Florida and Maine. My hero!	1972 Honda CB750 Flake sunrise orange, we re-created the tank graphic in paint, there's no decals or stickers used on this job. For a customer in NJ	1972 Kawasaki H2 750 Custom This is the second H2 we've painted for this customer. All paint, no decals or stickers on this custom paint job! We layered all the colors in blue/silver/charcoal, then smothered it all with purple candy before spraying the clear.
1970 Kawasaki Avenger A7ss One of two bikes we did for Mel, from Florida. This one was rough when it came in. We were able to save the tank by cleaning and lining it, and then re-creating the OEM paint job from scratch.	1982 Honda CB750F One of three bikes sent to us by the same Canadian customer. We matched the silver base up to the OEM specification, then stripped all the parts. Although it looks like a simple decal job, a lot goes into the various steps required to get these done right. 4 coats of urethane clear are over the graphics, with 6 total coats of clear on this job. Diablo Cycles in Canada provided the top quality decal kit.	1979 Suzuki GS1000 Wes Cooley Replica Our customer from New York sent us this set to repaint. Fortunately the tank had some decent condition original paint left on it that we were able to color match to. We re-created everything you see here in paint (no decals or stickers!) for this resto-mod GS1000
1973 Honda CB350 Four This customer from Alabama provided us a good OEM part to match to. We re-created this color with a combination of multiple products, from silvers to reds, flakes, and candy reds also. Then we masked off the pinstripes and sprayed them before shooting everything in urethane clear.	1990 Honda GB500TT Our customer from Florida sent us the fairing to paint to match for this classic Honda. We replicated the pin stripes in color and width, came out great looking!	1974 Honda CB750 The most impossible to photograph color in history: Honda's "Freedom green". Some cameras make it look blue, some cameras make it look green. None of them really capture the true color, it seems. All paint on this one, no decals. This one was for a customer in Massachusetts
1970 Triumph T120 One of two bikes we did for the same customer in Florida, this one came to us in pretty rough shape. A fresh paint job and some new tank emblems, and it's (literally) better than new!	1973 Ducati 750 Sport Another Ducati paint/body restoration for VintageDesmo.com, this one is a really rare one! The correct "Mustard yellow" was used, along with a partial decal kit (some of the graphics are paint)	1971 Kawasaki H1 Beautiful restoration on this 500 for a customer in Illinois. One of the few occasions where we used a decal kit, as it's practically impossible to re-create the pixelated component in the graphics with paint. All clear coated over, color sanded and buffed!
Honda CB985F custom One of three bikes for a Canadian customer, this is a resto-mod bike he's doing. We matched up the silver OEM paint, and this one uses a decal kit from AFE Graphics, protected by 4 total coats of urethane clear, the last 2 being satin finish	1985 Yamaha RZ350 This job was sent to us by a customer in Florida. The tank was rusty and full of pinholes, and the paint on the tank had completely failed. The bike had been previously painted elsewhere. We had to clean and seal the tank, match up all the colors to the side-covers that the customer provided for a color match (and they needed a little refreshing), and re-spray the tank from bare steel.	1974 Suzuki TM250 Customer supplied the decal kit for this one. The tank was rough and had a lot of pinholes. We cleaned and sealed it, and then painted it to match, clearing over the decals in the process.
1982 Kawasaki GPZ750 One of three bikes we've done for the same Canadian customer. This one is in the period correct "Firecracker red" with silver and blue stripes. All paint, no decals on this restoration.	1974 Honda CB550 Four_edited A custom touch on the colors for this little Honda from Prescott, AZ	1967 Honda CB125ss This tank looked like swiss cheese when we got it. We had a ton of work to do filling holes, then the tank had to be sealed and pressure tested for leaks. Apparently these tanks are practically impossible to put your hands on, so this one had to be saved.
Resto-mod CB1100F How pretty is this? Words don't do it justice, so just stare at the picture. :-) For a customer in Wisconsin	Honda CB750 custom The customer provided his own specifications for this job, custom colors and design. We also removed the tabs that hold the chrome strips on the bottom of the tank for this café racer bike	Custom Honda CB1100 This Honda was sent to us by a customer in Vermont. It's a resto-mod CB1100, so he wanted to customize the paint scheme. We used a combination of decals and paint on this one.
1978 Honda CB750 Sent to us by a customer in Pensacola, FL. We stripped and repainted this set in the "Candy Alpha Red" color using a decal kit under the clear from AFE Graphics.	1974 GT750 Ducati This is the 3rd Ducati we've done for the folks at Vintage Desmo (www.vintagedesmo.com) Being a "rider", Mike at Vintage Desmo asked that we do this one in Lexus 3T5 "Infrared", and paint the stripes on under the clear.	1976 Honda CB750 CB750 done in flake sunrise orange, this is our own custom mix that mimics the original Honda paint. The difference is, this is a urethane base/candy/clear system, and all of the graphics are painted on. This yields a MUCH nicer paint job than the one Honda produced!
1974 Kawasaki Z1 900 This beautiful restoration came to us from a customer from NJ, who now resides in NC. A difficult color to photograph, to be sure! Seemed to play a lot of games with our cameras. This was all paint, no decals or stickers	1972 Kawasaki G5 100 The second bike we've painted for a customer from Savannah, GA. Decal kit from Diablo Cycle was used on this one.	1971 Honda Mini-Trail 50_edited The owner of this bike is a machinist. He used the bottom of one tank and the top of another tank to make one good tank, TIG welded it all up and sent it to us for sealing and paint. We had to match to the fork tubes which had been previously powder coated.
1971 Kawasaki A7ss Sent to us by a customer in Iowa, we stripped this one to bare steel before laying down the pearl white and deal kit from Diablo Cycles. Everything received multiple coats of urethane clear, and looks better than it ever did new!	1976 Kawasaki KZ900LTD Sent to us by a customer from Myrtle Beach, SC. We recreated this paint job using all paint, no decals or stickers.	1984 Yamaha RZ350 Sent to us by a customer in Savannah, GA, this RZ350 was repainted to original OEM colors along with the help of a decal kit. In the instances where we do use a decal kit, all of them get clear coated over with at least 4 coats of clear to ensure you'll never have to worry about having paint issues again!
1960 Harley Panhead Recreation of the factory paint scheme for this old vintage Harley for a customer in SC	Honda CB350 Color matched our bronze metallic paint to the small powder coated bracket (inside the headlight ring) and did a creme pearl white for this custom job for a customer in VA	1978 Honda CB750F This customer from NY shared with us a logo he found on the internet that he wanted on the side of his tank. We re-created it in stencil and painted it on (no decals or stickers)
1980 Honda CB750C This tank was full of pinholes and rust when it arrived. We cleaned and sealed it with Caswell, then mixed up a match for the factory black, which actually has a little blue and white pearl. We re-created the "Custom" on top of the tank and the pinstripes with paint.	1976 Kawasaki KZ900 Gotta love those green KZ900's! This one was done for a customer in Florida	1971 Honda CB175 The bike was the OEM blue, but our customer from Virginia requested we switch it over to the red color offered for this model.
1974 Honda CB450 This set was sent to us by a customer in south Florida. We stripped everything to bare steel, then cleaned and sealed the tank before doing this beautiful paint job! Like the majority of our jobs, this was all paint, no decals or stickers.	1985 Kawasaki ZX600 Ninja This tank was sent to us from a customer in Beckley, WV and was in rough shape inside and out. Finding a nice one is impossible. We cleaned this out, sealed it with Caswell, and then repainted it to match the OEM scheme. We blended the red onto the side covers to help melt the color together, then re-cleared them, also.	Suzuki RG500 Gamma A customer from Kentucky sent us his beloved RG500 parts for paint work. We stripped off many layers of old paint, did some fiberglass repairs, and re-created all of the artwork seen here with paint. Even the "Telefonica" logos. Then we covered it all under multiple coats of urethane clear
1986 Honda VF1000R These tanks just don't exist any longer they are so rare! This one was sent to us by a customer in NC. It had pinholes and rust, and the paint was in poor shape. We matched up the OEM colors, stripped it inside and out, lined it with Caswell, pressure tested it, and then did the paint & bodywork. The HONDA word/wing decal was provided to us by AFE Graphics, and was outstanding quality. We applied it as part of the paint job, then sprayed multiple coats of urethane clear over everything.	1984 BMW R100 R100 repaint for a customer in Missouri. Repainted to match the OEM colors.	1975 Kawasaki H2 750 Sent to us by a customer in Phoenix, AZ. Completely stripped to bare steel, refinished in all paint, no decals or stickers
BMW R90t Customer crashed his bike and destroyed his OEM tank. He got a replacement in black, but that wouldn't match his white bike so well, so....	1982 Kawasaki GPZ1100 Sent to us by Cheyenne Motorsports in WY, we completely stripped this set of parts to bare plastic and steel, and refinished them in the OEM color scheme	1987 Suzuki GSXR1100 Sent in by a customer in NY, these parts were all different colors when we got them. There was plastic welding to be done, holes he wanted filled, and we had to take 2 upper fairings that were both broken and weld them together to make one, since you can't get these parts any longer! All paint, no decals or stickers on this job.
1974 Yamaha RD350 In pitiful shape when it arrived here, we were able to save this set of bodywork. The tank had pinholes and the fork ears were bent. A custom mix of a brandywine base coat and a purple candy top coat yields the correct color for this little 2-stroke smoker!	1983 Honda VF750 Sent in to us by the original owner, from California, for a complete repaint. We replicated everything with paint, no decals or stickers were used in this paint set.	1973 Honda CR250 One of three identical tanks for a customer from Nebraska. He sent these aluminum tanks to England to be structurally restored and to have the aluminum polished. Not wanting to change the look of the aluminum, but asking to have the entire thing protected by urethane clear, he sent it in to us for decal application, green and black striping, and overall clear coating.
1973 Kawasaki Z1 900cc Beautiful Z1 restoration on these parts sent in by a customer from Pennsylvania	Honda CB750 custom paint set This custom paint set for the CB750 will be traveling with us to shows across the east coast, and will eventually be FOR SALE! We used a heavy red metal flake, along with a beautiful gold/black color combo (all paint, no tape or decals!) on this gorgeous paint set! The tank was cleaned and lined with Caswell, the chrome strips were removed from the bottom of the tank, and new repo side covers and emblems were applied. Contact us with more questions.	1975 Honda CB750 A customer from Michigan sent us his CB750 tank (and new reproduction side covers) to repaint in the "Candy Antares red". You'll notice the Honda wings are in the wrong side covers, but these were ours, and just laid into the holes for photos, and removed before shipping ;-)
Kawasaki H2 750 This customer from Colorado had an extra set of bodywork for his 750 H2, and wanted to do a little something different. This is a PPG Vibrance blue pearl over a black base, with custom painted lettering (not a sticker!) on the tank.	1972 Kawasaki H1 Like so many of the vintage restoration projects that are sent to us, this one was in pretty rough shape. Now it's just pretty. This was one of the rare instances where we used a decal kit. This set belongs to a customer from Texas.	1977 Suzuki GS550 John, from Tennessee, saw our paint job we'd done for another customer on a GS1000, and wanted something just like it for his GS550. Bold and clean colors and lines, looks great!
1972 Honda SL100 The previous paint had gone entirely missing off the top of this tank. We finished stripping it, clean and lined the inside with Caswell, and repainted it to look factory again	1968 Kawasaki F3 Bushwacker 175 The second bike we've done for the same customer in Portland, Oregon. These parts were rough when sent in to us, now they look better than new!	1978 Kawasaki KZ1000LTD Ken, from Ohio sent us in these OEM parts that had been poorly painted with the wrong color. We stripped everything down and refinished them in the OEM "cardinal red" with pinstripes painted on (and all of it, as always, was buried under multiple coats of urethane clear)
Yamaha FJ1200 This customer from Florida keeps us busy doing FJ1100/1200 parts, as he has a small collection exclusively made up of these bikes. Here's yet another color combo for one of his bikes! All paint, no decals or stickers. Belly-pan was painted to match, but we overlooked adding it to the photo-shoot! This is the 3rd bike we've painted for this customer from central New Jersey.
1962 Triumph T100ss Complete restoration on these old Triumph parts for a customer in Savannah, GA.	1979 Kawasaki Mk2 The customer provided an OEM side cover to match the paint to, and per his request, we used a decal kit from Diablo Cycle in Canada. Everything got clear coated over, and color sanded and buffed. Bike #2 for the same customer in Florida	1979 Kawasaki Mk2 We mixed the blue to match from an OEM part provided by the customer and per the customers request, we used a decal kit from Diablo Cycle in Canada for this job. All of it got 4 coats of clear, and color sanded and buffed. One of two bikes completed for the same customer in Florida.
1979 Kawasaki KZ650 This KZ650 came out nice! We even refinished the tank logos to make them look new again, and cleared them in the same fashion we use to clear the other parts.	1969 Triumph T120R These parts were sent in from Staten Island, NY for a complete strip and repaint in the factory correct "silver stream" and "Olympic flame" colors. Like almost all of our jobs, given the fact that these colors were taped out and sprayed with a urethane base/clear (no decals or stickers) they actually look much nicer than the OEM paint, and will last many times longer!	1935 Harley Davidson VD After being around for 85 years, exposed to a fire, and eventually dragged out of a barn in Ohio, these 100% restored and repainted HD parts look better then they ever did new!
1982 Kawasaki KZ1300 This customer from Maine had us do the paint restoration on 3 of his big 6-cyl KZ1300's!	Kawasaki F11 This tank was sent in to us from Oregon, along with the front fender to use to get a color match to. 45 years after the front fender was painted at the factory, that tank is now about as close a match as you're going to get! For this job we used a customer supplied decal kit, per his request.	1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 Second Kawasaki we've refinished for this Tennessee client, this one in "Diamond Sky Blue" with gold OEM pinstripes in paint, not decals or stickers.
1971 Honda CB750 How pretty is that??!! Honda's original scheme, but this one's done in all paint, under urethane clear, color sanded and buffed! This is the 2nd bike we've painted for the same customer in New Hampshire	1982 Honda CB900C Our client drove here from Arkansas specifically to see our work in person and drop off these parts. He wanted to keep the OEM design, but asked us to sharpen up the colors just a bit. All paint, no decals or stickers. This is the way Honda should have done it! ;-)	1980 Kawasaki KZ650 LTD Refinished this complete paint set as one of two bikes for the same customer. All paint, no decals or stickers, in the OEM pearl black color.
1975 Ducati GT750 "BD's Cycles did the paintwork on our Mach1 build and we have been so happy with his work we had him do the GT. Man I love that gold/orange color, and Bryan does beautiful work" Vintage Desmo	1972 Kawasaki H2 750 For this vintage Kawasaki, our customer asked us to replicate the OEM layout/scheme, but with his own custom colors. All of the colors are base coat paints, burried under multiple layers of urethane clear coat that's been color sanded and buffed. Like all of our paint jobs, this one comes with a lifetime warranty. This awesome green 2-stroke "poke in the eye" can be found smoking up the otherwise clean mountain air in and around Loveland, CO	1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 This customer specified Dodge Viper blue as his color, with the factory layout of the OEM pinstriping, that we re-created with paint. Everything has been cleared over, color sanded and buffed. Looks like a million bucks, but actually only costs about $1500 :-)
1964 Honda SuperHawk 305 Lots of parts here on this old 305! These parts were pretty rough when we received them in here, but now they are looking better than new!	1964 Ducati Mach1 See more of this bike/build at vintagedesmo.com "Bryan applied the graphics and had the yellow outline stripe brushed by hand as it would have been from the factory. I gave Bryan an original paint Mach1 tank to use as a reference for the graphics. I see a lot of these repaints and most painters don't get it exactly right. 1974 Husqvarna CR250 Made in Sweden, this tank was in rough shape when it showed up here, We masked off to protect the chrome work (which was in fair shape) and stripped the rest of the tank before re-creating all of the colors and artwork with urethane base-coat, Then it all got a few coats of urethane clear, and back to Texas it went!	1956 Triumph T110 aluminum tank This is an aluminum tank, sent to us by a customer in California. It was bare aluminum when we got it in, and everything you see here now is paint, under urethane clear!	1978 BMW R100s This old BMW came to us in poor shape, in 4 different colors. After stripping everything to the bare substrate, we refinished the parts with the period correct copper metallic base and candy red top coat. Satin finish rear fender (not shown) and side-covers finish this project out nicely!
Honda CB750 Not all restorations have to be replicas! Here's a beautiful custom pearl white CB750 paint set that we did. It was an original tank, with new reproduction side-covers. The tank was cleaned and lined with Caswell, and all new emblems, cap, and tank trim were applied. Everything you see here is paint! This classy CB750 paint set was shipped to a customer in Washington state.	1975 Kawasaki H1 500cc This beautifully refinished 1975 H1 resides in NY. We cleaned/sealed the tank with Caswell before doing any paint work. What you're looking at here is all paint. No decals or stickers!	Honda CB750 Here's a custom restoration with a special twist on the colors! You won't find these colors on any other CB750. This was an original tank that was stripped bare, cleaned, lined with Caswell and re-finished. The side-covers were new reproduction components. All of the colors here are paint, no decals or stickers were used in this job. Keep your eyes peeled in Kentucky for this gorgeous custom CB750!
1980 Suzuki GS1000 Cool resto-mod Suzuki GS1000 paint job, complete with Yosh logo and it's own custom colors!	1979 RD400 Daytona Special 400 This customer from Massachusetts sent in both of his RD400 Daytona's for paint. Both tanks needed cleaning and sealing, and everything you see here was done with paint (no decals or stickers!) Looking 10x better than they ever did from Yamaha, these beautiful body sets will outlive their owner, most likely!	Honda CB750 cafe' racer This gorgeous Honda CB750 is dripping with custom parts, as well as a dripping wet looking paint job by BD's Cycles!
1981 Honda CB900F This set of bodywork came to us from Minnesota. It was tired, weary, and worn, with pinholes and rust in the tank. Everything was stripped down bare, and was refinished with the utmost care! This precise paint set came out looking fantastic, and unlike the OEM decals, the colors on this paint job will never fade, since they are all paint!	Norton Commando This Norton paint set was done in the traditional black/gold color combo, and included a custom tail cowling made by the owner. This set is for a customer in New Jersey	1988 Yamaha FJ1200 This customer from Jacksonville has a fleet of FJ's, many of them graced with BD's Cycles paint jobs. Here's just one shining example!
Kawasaki Bushmaster G3-TR Sent to us by a bike shop in Colorado, it was tough to even find an example of this bike in this color online to reference for colors and layout. Looks (and is!) better than new now!	1984 Yamaha FJ1100 Check out this beautiful FJ1100 sporting BD's Cycles paint! One of about ten FJ's this customer from Jacksonville FL owns.	Yamaha CT1 This CT1 tank and oil can were sent to me in sad condition. We stripped the tank to bare steel inside and out, sealed it, then re-created this OEM styled paint scheme. I don't know if they make decal kits for this bike, but it wouldn't matter, as we simply re-created everything with paint. This bike's forever home is in Orlando, Florida.
1977 Kawasaki KZ650 This bike's parts were sent to us in dire need of help! The tank was internally cleaned and lined with Caswell tank sealer. All the old paint was stripped off, and the fresh candy red paint was laid down. The pinstripes, like almost all of our jobs, were painted on prior to shooting the clear. If you're in the DC area and come across the cleanest looking 1977 KZ650 you've ever seen, it's probably this one!	Kawasaki Z1 This customer from Arkansas sent me his original worn and weathered Z1 bodywork for a fresh repaint, with his own personal twist on the color scheme. Dodge GTS "Viper blue" was the primary color, everything else was paint (no decals or stickers). What a great looking color combo!	1976 Yamaha RD400 Original "Chappy red" color, and everything you see here is paint, no decals or stickers. This one lives in Louisiana
1998 Ducati 900SS FE This 900SS FE came to us with some busted parts, a dent in the tank, and some scratches and scrapes. We masked off the original decals and did repairs, blended the new paint, and re-cleared everything. This gorgeous Ducati is now thump-thump-thumping it's way all over rural Michigan!	1984 GPZ900 Kawasaki This tank and side covers were sent to us from Massachusetts. The tank was off a later model (and completely different color) GPZ, but it was purchased to replace the rotten original tank that was on the bike. We cleaned the tank out internally and lined it with Caswell, then repainted the tank to match the original paint on the bike. The side covers were sent in to perform a color match to. Factory fresh looking now!	1972 Honda CB750 Straight from the customer's mouth from California: "I couldn’t be more outrageously pleased with the way my tank and side covers came out! Superior job on my dent removal and color match of the early 70’s Candy Gold. Such great workmanship. Tank sealed with Caswell and all the work included a lifetime warranty! It’s no wonder he’s been profiled in the recent Cafe Racer Magazine. May be across the country from me, but we’ll worth the trip. Thanks again Bryan! Outstanding job!"
1971 Honda ST90 A customer from New Jersey sent us his 1971 Honda ST90 frame for repair and refinishing. We media blasted it to bare steel, performed a few minor repairs, then epoxy primed, sealed, then laid down color and clear. Looking like new again!	1976 Kawasaki KZ900 This beautiful paint set is one of two colors offered on the 1976 KZ900 (the other was a green). Stripped the old paint all off these and refinished them from scratch. All paint, no decals or stickers on this job. This job shipped to Ozark, Missouri.	1998 Yamaha R1 This local customer had a 6k mile, all original 100% bone stock 1998 Yamaha R1 that had a few dings and a scratch through the Yamaha word on the tank, and some scratches on the front fender. Not any more.... :-)
1981 Honda CB750F SS From Todd B: "I am the owner/builder of this bike. I can attest to the fact that not all painters are the same nor do they have the same dedication towards perfection as you will see in Bryan's work!"	1983 Honda CB900F Purchased new in 1983 by the original owner, it was time to re-start the clock for this bike. It was stripped down and repainted using an OEM decal kit. 4 coats of gloss clear were applied in 2 different stages over all of the color coats and decals.	Norton 850 Commando A fresh paint job on an old classic! All paint, no decals or stickers on this one.
Yamaha FJ1200 bellypans This customer from Miami sent us 3 poor condition bellypans for his two FJ1200's. These are unobtainable, so they had to be saved! We used the poorest one to cannibalize for parts to make two good ones, then painted them to match. Like new again!	1978 Kawasaki Z1-R Complete paint restoration from scratch on this big bad Z1-R, using the correct "stardust silver" color, and a reproduction decal kit! Multiple coats of clear protect all the colors and decals. This bike can be found terrorizing the streets of in the Indianapolis area	Honda XR75 This tank was sent to us in rough condition from a customer in Atlanta. We cleaned the interior and sealed it with Caswell, then did the bodywork and resprayed it, using a replica decal set, and buried that under urethane clear.
1975 Honda CB400 SS Allison P. from CA says: "I am more than pleased with my fantastic paint job BD's Cycles has done on my Vintage Honda's tank and side panels! The tank was not in good condition, and came back looking brand new. It goes to show the high quality of workmanship that Bryan has. I would definitely use them again!"	BMW R90s We've done quite a few of these BMW R90s in this color combo. We let the customers tell us how they want the pinstripes done: by hand on top of the paint job, by hand under the clear, taped and sprayed under the clear, or taped and sprayed on top of the clear. Different strokes for different folks!	BWM R100 A local customer converted a R100 to a cafe racer, this beautiful new paint job was the icing on the cake for his build!
Honda CL350 The bodywork off this bike came to us tired and weathered. Looking better now than when it was new! This bike lives in Columbia, SC	Vintage 1940's Ariel The tank was sent to us in fresh chrome, and a special technique was utilized to get the paint to stick to the bright, shiny chrome! This is the 2nd restoration for the same customer from Greenville, SC	1966 Yamaha YM1 All parts stripped to bare steel before being repainted. The tank, side covers, and silver parts were sprayed with a base/clear, and the rest of the structural parts received a single stage urethane enamel finish
Moto Guzzi ElDorado These parts arrived here crusty and rusty! They were stripped to bare steel and given the BD's Cycles treatment! So fresh, so clean! This bike can be found riding around the hills of Ohio	Kawasaki KZ1300 "BD's did an awesome job on my KZ1300. Great communication and outstanding craftmanship. I couldn't ask for any more. The bike was removed from the corner of a father-in-law's garage, and had been neglected and forgotten about for years! Here they are all refinished from bare steel, and looking like a million bucks!
Kawasaki KZ1300 Look at this BEAUTIFUL completely refurbished set of bodywork for the infamous Kawasaki KZ1300! Everything you see here is paint, all buried under urethane clear. Looks like a factory paint job, but so, so, so much nicer! FOR SALE, $1300	Honda CB750 Cafe Racer Beautiful custom CB750 cafe racer, blue pearl over black, all graphics painted on and cleared over.	1986 Kawasaki GPZ900 This customer's original tank had rusted through. He purchased a used tank, but it was the wrong color. We cleaned it internally, sealed it with Caswell, did all the prep and bodywork, then mixed up the colors to match. I had to blend the pearl white on the tank into the pearl white on the side-covers to complete the blend illusion, but it's those little tricks that make the difference! Once the clear dried, it was shipped back to Ohio.
1975 Kawasaki Z1 900 This striking restoration was performed on what were old and worn out parts. Everything you see here is a recreation of the original paint job, except it was done in all paint, no decals or stickers. Per the customers request, a custom color was used to give it a nice little zing!	1982 Yamaha RD350LC From Jim W. in FL: "Bryan took my 1982 RD350LC with no hesitation. Did a fantastic job with the paint and decals. It now looks better than it did when it came new from Japan. Bryan kept in touch and sent pictures and updates. Highly recommended, and I will certainly use BD's Cycles again!"	1935 Sunbeam Solo Sport This is an extremely rare and unique motorcycle. The tank was re-chromed, then sent to us for paint. A special technique was utilized to get the paint to stick to new chrome. I'm told there are only 20 of these bikes on the official registry, and the customer trusted BD's Cycles to do the paint work!
Triumph tank This relatively late model Triumph tank was plain black, and the owner wanted to spruce it up with something a little more special.	1972 Kawasaki H2 Straight from the customer's mouth: "I hope you and your business are doing well. I don't know if you recall doing a paint job for me 7 or so years back (time flies!) I've finally gotten the H2 finished and running. I thought you might enjoy seeing the finished product. My goal was to make a functional bike - not a "better than new" restoration that you are afraid to ride, so some of the original patina is there. Definitely loving the color and the job you did. Thanks again!"

Like a lot of these old Kawasaki's, recreating this color is a complicated process. Black and white bases are sprayed, followed by a pearl flake mid coat, then a candy color, clear-coat, white stripes, and more clear!

Done up in "Candy Antares Red" for a customer from NJ who now resides (retired!) in NC. This is the 2nd bike I've done for the same customer. Decal kit provided by Diablo Cycles in Canada.

This one was in REALLY rough shape when it arrived here. We stripped the old paint job, cleaned out the old tank liner, welded a bunch of pinholes in the tank, and repainted everything in the OEM candy Antares red paint scheme.
